NATIONAL CIVIL RIGHTS MUSEUM

Located in Memphis, TN, the National Civil Rights Museum shares the culture and lessons from the American Civil Rights Movement and how it has impacted the fight for freedom globally. Founded in 1991, this museum is located at the site where Martin Luther King, Jr. was assassinated - the Lorraine Motel. This exhibit was part of a multi-million dollar expansion of the “Legacy Experience,” an exploration of civil rights history from Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s assassination to the present day.
